From April to September, Pickforal Kennels offers an all
inclusive gundog training experience for handlers and their
dogs. These are ideally suited to the novice handler or the
more experienced who wish to sharpen up their skills, with
access to over 300 acres of farmland.
The programme begins mid-day on the Saturday and finishes
on Sunday teatime. The programme includes both individual
and group tuition, steadiness training in the rabbit and poultry
pens, water work, simulated field trials, scurries and a fun
clay shoot (optional).
Prices start from £250 per person (including dog kennelling),
country pub bed and breakfast and evening meals for the handler,
transport to and from the training ground, tuition and all
equipment.
